Since day 1 of my husband and I being married we have been in ministry. Our first move away from home took us to Bryan, Ohio a little town in the Northwest corner of Ohio. We made a lot of great friends who quickly became like family to us. While living in Bryan, I don't know if we had more dinners in peoples homes because we all had small kids and that was just easier or if it was because it was a very little town with not a lot of food options for dinning out! Either way, we loved our time here and enjoyed the time spent with our friends around the table.
When we first moved to Bryan, some families from the church where my husband would be serving scheduled different nights to bring us a meal as we settled into our new home. On night my friend Julie brought us dinner and although I can't remember what she made us, I am sure it was good because she is a great cook, but what I do remember are her no bake cookies that she made for us. I quickly asked for the recipe and have been making them ever since!
I thought this might be a good recipe to share now for those of you who will be traveling for Labor Day weekend or having get togethers with friends and family. Enjoy!
