I got this recipe from my friend Misty and I've been making it ever since I first had it at her house! Who doesn't love a good ice cream cake?!. This one is really simple and only requires a handful of ingredients. If you are looking for something new to try for your Memorial Day get togethers then I think you will really enjoy this dessert!

1 package of Oreo cookies crushed ( I use a blender to do this)

1 stick of butter, melted

1/2 gallon of Vanilla Ice Cream

8 oz. Cool Whip

1 jar of hot fudge

  1. Crush the Oreos (saving a handful for the top)

  2. Mix crushed Oreos with the melted butter

  3. Pat firmly on the bottom of a 9x13 cake pan

  4. Freeze for about 20 minutes

  5. Next, spread a layer of ice cream. I like to allow the ice cream to get soft so that it's easier to spread

  6. Freeze for another 20 minutes

  7. Spread a layer of the hot fudge

  8. Top with Cool Whip and remaining crushed Oreos and freeze

  9. Best to freeze overnight!

Enjoy!
